Our troops answered the call to serve America in distant lands against viscous enemies of our country and freedom. When they were wounded after a time they began rehabilitation at the Center for the Intrepid on Fort Sam Houston. While there the Warrior and Family Support Center provides a place where they can relax, socialize and enjoy some everyday normal activities. My good friend Special Forces Team Leader Levi Rodgers was blown up and burned over 80% of his body and lost his lower leg. He spent a month in a coma. When he regained consciousness he learned how his family had been treated in their extreme time of need. He told me to tell you how wonderful the people there are. Now there will be other soldiers there this holiday season. Let’s make it better for them. Thank you.
